Here it is – the only boat in history to bear the name of legendary auto racer and performance kingpin Carroll Shelby.

The Donzi 22 Shelby GT. The 22 Shelby GT is even leaner, meaner, and lower-slung than the original Classic, thanks to its low-profile aluminum race fairing, integrated molded fiberglass air intake scoop, special color schemes and custom stainless steel hardware including flush-mounted pull-up cleats. Wraparound cockpit upholstery with integrated coaming storage compartments, cupholders, and ergonomic high-back bucket seats add to the performance look of this hot new model.

But this is a Shelby, and that means that – beyond mere looks – this boat will perform like none other. The raised engine hatch serves two purposes: Not only does it allow for increased airflow to the Shelby’s clear-breathing big-block V8, but it allowed Donzi to raise the X-dimension compared to its conventional 22 Classic sibling, making the 22 Shelby GT Donzi’s fastest-ever 22-footer.
